Just nine days after completing installation and training, the University of Debrecen Clinical Center (Debreceni Egyetem Klinikai Központ) began performing fraction QA measurements during patient treatments with IQM.
- Installation & training completed: 26 January 2026
- First fraction QA measurement: 4 February 2026
This marks the fastest transition from IQM installation to live treatment monitoring in the history of IQM.

Immediate Clinical Adoption
The rapid integration was not symbolic — it was decisive and sustained.
Since implementation, the Debrecen team has already measured:
- 410 fractions
- 52 SRS fractions
- 738 treatment fields
- 200 SRS fields
These numbers demonstrate not only speed of implementation, but confident integration into routine workflow — including high-precision SRS treatments.
Why This Matters?
For many clinics, the central concern is whether advanced verification systems can be introduced without slowing down clinical throughput.
Debrecen has shown that with preparation, teamwork, and commitment to patient safety, IQM can move from installation to meaningful clinical use within days — even in complex SRS environments.
We congratulate the entire medical physics and radiotherapy team in Debrecen for setting this new benchmark in IQM implementation
