We are proud to announce the successful installation of the IQM System at KBC (Klinički Bolnički Centar) Split, one of the leading radiotherapy centers in Croatia and across the Western Balkan region.
IQM was installed on KBC Split’s brand-new Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator, and the installation process went seamlessly. Within hours, the IQM was fully integrated and operational — ready to elevate treatment verification and QA efficiency.
The clinic will use IQM for the verification of a wide range of modern and complex treatment techniques, including:
- VMAT with 6MV / 10MV / 6FFF / 10FFF
- DCAT with 6MV / 10MV
- VMAT SRS with 6FFF / 10FFF
- DCAT SRS with 6FFF / 10FFF
as well as for Machine QA applications.
Their initial impressions of IQM have been extremely positive.
Darijo Hrepic, Head of the Medical Physics team at KBC Split shared the following feedback:
“With the IQM system, both machine quality control and
patient plan verification can be performed quickly, efficiently, and without limitations. The device is simple to mount and remove from the linear accelerator and is easily operated directly from the workstation.
Our next step will be to integrate the IQM system into the verification of complete radiotherapy treatment fractions for selected patients.”
