We are pleased to share the successful installation of the IQM system at the brand-new Radiation Therapy Clinic at Centro Médico Viamed Tarragona.
IQM has been fully commissioned and configured for a broad range of clinical applications, including:
- 6 MV VMAT
- 10 MV VMAT
- 6 FFF VMAT, including single-lesion SRS and multi-lesion SRS
In addition, preparation for 10 FFF VMAT with SRS applications is already underway, with further measurements planned by the clinic to complete the final commissioning steps.
The clinical team has expressed its intention to use IQM both for linac QA and during patient treatments, underlining the increasing importance of real-time beam monitoring as an integral part of daily clinical workflows in modern radiotherapy.
We would like to thank the clinical team at Centro Médico Viamed Tarragona, as well as everyone at Mercurius Health, for their excellent collaboration throughout the IQM installation process. IT preparation, short-notice technical requests, and the provision of qualified personnel for measurements were handled with outstanding efficiency, enabling a smooth and timely installation.
