We’re thrilled to announce our latest collaborations with the University Clinic Innsbruck.
Advancing Stereotactic Treatment Verification
Since their IQM System was installed in June 2023, the Medical Physics team in Innsbruck has taken the system to new heights, integrating IQM into their verification processes for complex, multi-lesion stereotactic treatments.
At the recent European Congress of Medical Physics (ECMP) conference in Munich, the Innsbruck team presented their findings on the benefits of IQM for highly sophisticated hybrid DCAT/VMAT stereotactic techniques.
Their poster presentation highlighted IQM’s precision in dose verification, even in treatments with variable dose rates. The team demonstrated how IQM helps maintain stringent accuracy, ensuring that radiation dose delivery aligns closely with planned parameters, a crucial factor in complex treatments where patient safety and treatment efficacy are paramount.
Collaborative Success with IQM v1.10 Machine QA Protocols
Our collaboration with Innsbruck has also been pivotal in the clinical evaluation of IQM’s new Machine QA protocols, launched as part of the recent IQM v1.10 update. Innsbruck’s team provided invaluable insights, helping us optimize QA protocols that enhance dose measurement accuracy and streamline quality assurance for complex treatment plans.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Medical Physics team at University Clinic Innsbruck for their expertise, dedication, and engaged partnership. And we applaud their success in advancing the IQM System’s capabilities.
